Pleasure tour 25 - 12,6 km
Walking ·

The sunlight is caught in the tops of the deciduous trees and reflected in the forest floor, the streams and the rock. After these beautiful impressions, we continue to the slate mine museum.
In these tunnels, the slate that covered the roofs and walls of the local farms and houses was mined. Slate brought the village prosperity, but the men, women and children of Recht spent many days in the icy damp of the mine. However, these sober thoughts soon evaporate as we leave the mine going slightly downhill and the view of Recht captures our attention.
Then, the deep, dense forest lures us back. It is neither sombre nor cheerless, but it captivates the hiker by its overwhelming stillness. In the final kilometres, we take a short break in a beautiful clearing before reaching the beer museum, still inspired by the impressions from our hike.
