The whole range of winter sport facilities is covered on this website. In some places there are also skiing instructors for school groups. Everywhere, there are ample facilities for parking and stopping in for some refreshment, and sanitary facilities too. All the information about winter sport has been put together in a clearly laid out winter sport map, which is available free in most of the skiing centres right next to the piste.

East Belgium is divided up into 6 snow areas. The division was made on the one hand to call attention to the varied range of winter sport facilities, and on the other, to keep the many skiing fans who select East Belgium as their destination at weekends with plenty of snow informed about the great selection of ski centres and pistes.

Even when the depth of the snow is not sufficient for skiing and the pistes are closed, a walk through the snowy woods and lakeside landscapes of East Belgium is always worthwhile.
