At Ferme Libert, the path immediately leads into the forest. From afar, you can hear the sound of the Trôs-Maret, plunging into the valley. A true mountain stream that has carved its way through hard slate and quartzite rock. To reach it, the path passes along a hillside and is occasionally difficult. The scenery is mountainous, highlighted by the presence of a cable installed along the stream on the rock for safety.

A bridge allows crossing to the other bank. We come to one of the wildest scenes in the region. The farther we go up the course of the “Moor Wildbach,” the narrower the valley becomes. After another small bridge section, we leave the canyon and reach a clearing that until recently was covered by tall spruces. The landscape opens up towards the nearby hills of the Venn. At a crossroads, we leave the high trail to the left to return to the starting point.
