Pleasure tours - At the waterside, in the woods or over the hills
The practical hiking guide "Pleasure tours" offers the well-known 26 premium hiking tours in East Belgium. In the 5 southern German-speaking communities these are based on the new Honeycomb network for hikers while in the north the geometric signs still lead through the terrain. In the two francophone communities of Malmedy and Waimes, the hikes have been revised and provided with a newly installed, traditional tour signposting. The circular walks of 5 to 21 km are arranged thematically and lead "along the water", "over the hills" or "through the woods". So there is something for every taste and every level of fitness.
The tour description includes a map and an altitude profile as well as the most important information for the local hikers. There is practical information on recommended equipment, parking facilities and the taking of pets. You can also find out more about the test centre for the rental of hiking equipment, about trekking tours in East Belgium and hiker-friendly accommodation.
