Diversion on the "Route of Commemoration" near Hellenthal (DE)
A diversion is currently in place on the "Route of Commemoration" near Hellenthal: a section of the route is closed due to construction work for a new wind farm, expected to last until spring 2028. The diversion isn't signposted: please follow the markings for the walk "Um die Oleftalsperre" instead. The diversion makes the hike about 1.5 km longer than the original route, but a shortcut is possible.
