The starting point of the route is located at the former Montenau station, where, among other things, the Tourist Info is now situated. The first meters of the Wolfsbusch route lead you slightly uphill via the Ravel path until you reach the namesake of the route, the Wolfsbusch. At the southern tip of this wooded ridge, you dive deeper into the forest. Numerous epic trail sections await you, sometimes on soft forest soil, sometimes on bumpy forest roads. In the constant up and down, the trails eventually lead you to the Amel riverbed. From there it goes back uphill over forest roads and root-filled trails. A hollow path takes you to Thirimont and Ondenval. Here, you will discover some more trails in and around the Rohrbusch. After crossing the Ravel path, it goes down to the fish breeding ponds and back into the Wolfsbusch. Then you must go all the way up to the rock "An der Ley" to enjoy the crown finale of the descent down to Montenau.
