The first part of this eventful MTB tour runs along the Warche and the wild Bayehon stream. With only 315 metres of climb, this route is also suitable for less experienced riders.

Many houses in the south of East Belgium are made in natural stone (arkose) and have a character typical of the region. Some of the quarries are in the Warche valley and have meanwhile attained quite impressive dimensions. After the quarries, you continue up the valley in the wildness of nature, right up to the edge of the fen, returning over the hills north of Malmedy.
Author’s recommendation
