Description

At a distance of a few kilometres from the city centre of Eupen, a gigantic concrete wall arises from the ground: the reservoir dam of the Weser.  The lake that developed in this reservoir due to the confluence of Weser and Getzbach provides the drinking water for Eupen, the Pays de Herve, the surroundings of Liège and the domain of Sart Tilman.
The reservoir lake also offers leisure activities, such as an educational forest trail or the highest climbing wall in the Euregio.

The visitor centre is an ideal excursion destination for families with children, but also for adventurers, or everyone who simply wants to relax. Bikers and hikers who explore the bicycle tourism network or follow the honeycomb network in the area of the lake are also welcome. The terrace with a view to the lake invites to savour sunny summer days. Children can also profit from a playground of wide scope.
