Today you hike where knights once lived. This short circular route begins with a climb to the church of Weweler. At the top, you will have a great view from the church cemetery down into the Our Valley. At the church itself, you can rest at the two tree tables from the climb. Do you see all the rings? Each one stands for a year of life. How old were the two trees before they were made into tables?

Via the Way of the Cross, you descend again toward Burg Reuland.

The remains of the castle from the 12th century majestically perch on a slight hill above the village. They are visible from far away. By the way, the ruin of Burg Reuland is one of the most beautiful and largest castle ruins in the Ardennes. Once down, a detour into the village and to the ruin is recommended. You can return to your starting point via the Vennbahn.
