House Turbes - with board games at Café René - 500 years of hospitality

House Turbes is located in the wooded Weberbachtal, in the middle of the nature parc High Fens. The historic farm house dates from 1552 and has been furnished in a modern way: a spacious living room with a soapstone fireplace, a TV room (with Wifi) and a fully equipped kitchen await our guests. The quality beds with anti-allergic blankets offer optimal sleeping comfort.

House Turbes is composed of 2 comfortable holiday homes: Biberburg (12-20 p.) and the smaller Schwalbennest (6-10 p., from 230 Euro), which can only be rented together during the Christmas holidays.

The holiday home is situated in a dead-end street and is surrounded by a 3,000 m² garden. The terrace with furniture out of wood invites to relax and to play: barbecue, open air chess board, children’s games and a separate football pitch are at disposition.

The hiking route (junction nodes 51-59), the hiking trail GR 56 and a mountainbike trail lead past the house. The cycling route Vennbahn is in the immediate vicinity and offers multiple connections to excursion possibilities: Aachen, Stavelot, lake of Butgenbach, Monschau, Prüm, Troisvierges… Motor sport enthusiasts also get their money’s worth: the race track Spa-Francorchamps and a carting centre are to be found in proximity. Moreover, events like the Hillclimbing and the Eastbelgium Rallye take place in the region every year.
