Turn-by-turn directions
Start is in the holiday resort Schönberg. From there it starts along the Our in the direction of Amelscheid. Before the path leads up, it continues to the right along the Our in the direction of the forest area Klein Bohlscheid. Once in the forest, the route remains relatively flat. Approximately at the level of Atzerath, the path climbs steeply along the forest path (short climbs of 20% and 15%) and later again on a steep descent with a small S-bend down into the Our valley.
Shortly after the village of Setz, the cycle path meets the Our valley route again in the direction of Steinebrück. From now on you follow the little used country road along the border river Our between Setz and Steinebrück with the idyllic villages Rödgen, Alfersteg and Weppeler. Shortly before Steinebrück the road meets the junction of the Eifel-Ardennes cycle path to Bleialf and Prüm. Via a small connecting section over the former Steinebrück border crossing and under the motorway bridge, there is a direct connection to the Ravel cycle path network in the direction of St.Vith or Burg Reuland. The route is of course signposted in both directions.
