La Maison du Tourisme Hautes Fagnes - Cantons de l’Est fait partie du réseau des Maisons du Tourisme en Région wallonne. Située à Malmedy, la Maison du Tourisme a pour tâche l’accueil et l’information aux touristes venus dans les Cantons de l’Est. Nous sommes à votre service !
The East Belgium Tourist Agency operates its own reception centre in Malmedy and welcomes tourists who visit the House of Tourism or ask for information by telephone or in writing.
The Houses of Tourism in Wallonia aim at welcoming tourists, providing them with information and supporting tourist activities in their catchment area. The High Fens House of Tourism - East Belgium covers the 9 German-speaking municipalities and the two French-speaking municipalities of Malmedy and Weismes.
The tourist information centre is proud to have received this label, which officially certifies that the premises are barrier-free. The certification was granted by Access-i, an association that promotes the accessibility of public spaces for people with disabilities. You can find more information about the Access-i label here.

Free rental of top hiking equipment in East Belgium
This service from Best of Wandern is available for hiking guests in the High Fens House for Tourism - East Belgium in Malmedy:The holiday region East Belgium is a cooperation partner of Best of Wandern, an association of European hiking regions, equipment manufacturers, tour operators and online mail order companies. The aim of this cooperation is to bring together attractive tourist hiking destinations (regions) with brand manufacturers in the outdoor industry and to work together in implementing and marketing a new service for hiking guests.
Product Shop "Made in East Belgium"
The High Fens House for Tourism - East Belgium is the official sales point for products "Made in East Belgium". Holiday guests can discover the smell and the good taste of the region ... and even take them home as souvenirs.
The shop in the House for Tourism offers a variety of regional products. These include products from suppliers such as Fonk's Backwaren, Bellevaux Brewery, Finessen, Kockarts, Dijan, Montenauer Schinkenräucherei, Grain d'orge, +32 Coffee, Gaby's Nudelküche and many more.
