The route starts at the village square in Schönberg. From there, the route leads into the street Alter Herresbacher Weg and steeply uphill towards the village Herresbach. At the top, you will be rewarded for your efforts with a sweeping view of the upper Our valley. From here, you ride along the Stoneman Arduenna trails until shortly before the small village Schlierbach. The single trails lead through deciduous and coniferous forests and on wide forest paths. You will encounter treacherous climbs on this section; some of them are steeper and longer than they initially appear. Fast forest tracks and tricky, technical trails await you on the descents. In the village of Setz, you cross to the other side of the Our Valley. An ascending trail leads you to the top of a hill where the landscape opens up and you reach the village of Amelscheid. Enjoy the last view of the Ourtal valley before continuing down to the village square in Schönberg. At the end of this tour, you will have well and truly earned a refreshment stop on a terrace.
