Starting from the tourist centre in Schönberg, the tour goes towards Amelscheid, then entering the forest (at Klein Bohlscheid), continuing via small, idyllic hamlets such as Setz, Schlierbach and Alfersteg, and returning via the ridge which is the border to Germany. Not a long tour, but a varied one with some diverse landscapes that whet your appetite for more.

Author’s recommendation

This tour offers enjoyment from the word go. In Schönberg there are two possibilities to stop for some refreshment.
